Laker are pleased to be supporting a team of Royal Horticultural Society Students from CW Horticultural Training to demonstrate their skills at the Malvern Spring Show. The show is an opportunity to showcase the students design and creative knowledge and expertise in horticulture.
The Show Graden is called Millefiori ‘A garden of one thousand flowers’. The structure and hard landscaping of this formal garden is inspired by the beautiful ancient ‘Millefiori’ glasswork artefact found amongst the Staffordshire Hoard with its literal meaning of one thousand flowers.
It is a colourful and vibrant spring garden with vertical and horizontal interest wrapped around a wonderful arbour – inviting the visitor to take the journey to the centre and pause for a moment to enjoy the space within, whilst being enveloped by the warmth of the colour themed planting below and bathing in the coloured light beaming down from the stained glass dome above.
The show aims to offer advice, guidance and expertise from numerous experts and TV perosnalities on a wide range of gardening-related subjects, with a special focus on educating children. There will be a large number of school gardens as well as numerous activities to encourage children to be engaged with gardening and the outdoors.
