Laker have successfully secured a contract to deliver Reactive Repairs, Maintenance and Void Refurbishment for Runnymede Borough Council. Runnymede includes the towns and villages of Addlestone, Chertsey, Egham, Englefield Green, Longcross, Lyne, New Haw, Ottershaw, Row Town, Thorpe, Virginia Water and Woodham.
Runnymede Borough Council’s principal aim is enhancing the quality of life for residents and providing an attractive environment for businesses and visitors. A key principle for the authority is to develop a mixed economy of contractors and promote partnering arrangements. They are keen to develop participation by small firms and the voluntary and community sectors, and to work with contractors to deliver community benefits in a way that is consistent with best value and in compliance with procurement law, making Laker an ideal choice of partner.
We will fully support the delivery of reactive maintenance, void property works and out of hours emergency repair call outs delivered by the Council to dwellings, empty properties and communal areas for circa 2,890 social housing homes.
The primary scope of work will be to carry the following works:
• vinyl sheet flooring,
• floor and wall tiling,
• paving and concrete works,
• metal works,
We look forward to a long and successful partnership with Runnymede.
