The Laker team were extremely proud to help turn Woolwich Town Hall and the Woolwich Centre in the Royal Borough of Greenwich blue last night for #clapforcarers.
Laker were asked to help by The Royal Borough of Greenwich, who wanted to show their appreciation for the NHS and all key workers who are still working (often at great personal risk) during this busy team.
The Laker team (who provide Gas and Electrical services for Greenwich) literally helped turned the lights blue, and the claps and cheers could be heard throughout Greenwich at 8pm.
#ClapforCarers is to thank the NHS workers and other key workers who are working tirelessly throughout the ongoing coronavirus pandemic in the UK. The Clap For Carers campaign will see people across the UK applaud NHS, delivery drivers, shop workers and all those who are out there making an unbelievable difference to our lives in these challenging times.
We are extremely proud that the list of keyworkers includes many of our own staff, who are responding to emergency repairs and maintenance requests, so people can stay safe in their own homes…. bravo, you are amazing!
